Fat Quarter Swap August

A big hug and thank you to Maureen L. for the lovely Fat Quarters and gold thread I received. I love the cat card Maureen included in the parcel:-)

Christmas in July Swap

This is the lovely "Christmas In July Swap" parcel that I recieved from snorts. The parcel arrived a couple of weeks ago, but have had internet issues (again), joys of bush living. The parcel contained some cider mix, a Christmas soap, two beautiful hand made wash clothes, a ball of red sparkly yarn, a ball of red, white and green cotton yarn, some Christmas gift tags, a nail file, I hope I have remembered everything, if not cast your eyes on the photo below :-)
There was Christmas candle, some hand cream, so many lovely things.
A big hug and thank you to snorts (Linda).

OPAM August

This month I only completed my stitch along, worked on lots of other bits and pieces, lots of starts and sorting of fabrics for works to come.
The SAL is a cute little bag, from Anni Diwns "Some Kind Of Wonderful", I used Japanesemprints, and the gokd thread I did the stitchery in, I bought when my daughter was a baby (30 years ago!), from a little shop in Cairns, in FN QLD.

Happy stitching until next time

Restocking of Supplies

Thank you to my beautiful daughter for driving me to various locations, so I coukd restock on FQs, knitting yarn, and pencils, paper and paints, and stamps for doodling and journalling.

Now I am going to post some of this gear back home, even though I prepaid excess baggage, I am in trouble (of the best kind - lol - to much shopping).

Happy stitching

Down in the Big Smoke

After a long day of travel, including a five hour wait for connecting flight, I made it to Brisbane, and my daughter and one of my grandsons met me at the airport. My how the boys have grown.
The boys liked their knitted red beanies. And my daughters respnse to her knitted hat was, "wow, it is nice and warm".

Might go and have a cup of tea to commencevthe day.

Happy stitching
